2010 Program Theme for U.M.W.
Our God is a community-making God. Our mission together as United Methodist Women is to create beloved communities with women, children and youth.
“Let’s get together” and renew our commitment to local communities and to those in other countries.
“Food and Faith” is the 2010 spiritual growth study in which some of our circles will be participating. This study explores how our faith is nurtured, strengthened, and enhanced by food and all the ways food touches our lives. Food is never far from a gathering of the faithful!
“Giving Our Hearts Away: Native American Survival” is a general mission study for 2009-2010. This is for UMW members interested in the history, culture and ongoing challenges of the first people of the United states.
“The Beauty and Courage of Sudan: Why a Dream of Peace is Possible” is also the geographical mission study for this year. It is a picture of Sudan’s spirit of courage and the hope that they will realize their dream of peace.
